We are experts in innovative and sustainable warehousing solutions that cater to the needs of our diverse clients. Our warehouses are located at 14 sites across Central and Eastern Europe, providing an impressive total of 517,000 m² of storage space.
We are capable of storing refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods in all temperature ranges from +25 to -25 °C. To operate our warehouses efficiently and in compliance with FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO methodologies, we utilize advanced warehouse management systems (SAP-based). We offer various types of warehouses equipped with modern technology, enabling us to provide customized storage solutions for our clients.
We offer a network of central warehouses that optimize storage processes and supply chain management. We use standard warehouses for storing and distributing regular inventory, as well as customs and tax warehouses for goods subject to customs and tax regulations.
All our warehouses utilize advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) to efficiently control inventory flow, minimize errors, plan, record, and monitor the entire warehouse operation.
We also provide cross-docking solutions, which we use for products that need to be quickly processed and dispatched without unnecessary delays. Such goods are not stored but are instead transferred directly from receiving shipments to outbound vehicles, ensuring minimal storage space usage and faster transportation. This is particularly ideal for seasonal goods and other products with short shelf lives.
Our warehousing solutions also include end-of-line operations such as assembly, packaging across all temperature ranges, labeling, carton mixing, and promotional stand fulfillment, ensuring that our clients’ goods are always prepared to their specifications.
We offer a wide range of transportation options to provide every client with an efficient solution for shipping goods over short and long distances.
Road transport is the backbone of our logistics services, suitable for both domestic and international shipments. We offer full truckload, pallet, and carton options, allowing transportation of anything from a few pallets to oversized shipments. We continuously optimize routes to lower costs and reduce emissions.
For shipments that need to be delivered quickly over long distances, air transport is the ideal choice. We provide air freight solutions through regular and charter flights.
We offer maritime transport, which is particularly suitable for large volumes of goods that need to be moved over long distances. We cover all continents and are capable of organizing your ocean freight with maximum reliability.
Rail transport offers a highly favorable combination of speed and sustainability. Compared to ocean freight, it is 15-20 days faster between China and Europe and produces 25% fewer emissions. Compared to air transport, it generates ten times fewer emissions. This makes it an ideal means of connection between European and Asian markets.
Thanks to our value-added services (VAS), we help our clients adapt to the specific needs of the market and their end customers. We do this through our network of 13 VAS centers in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.
More than 700 employees at HOPI ensure that all shipments are correctly packaged and labeled. We package and label across all temperature ranges, from -25 °C to +25 °C, including specialized handling of frozen, refrigerated, and dry products.

The Czech Republic is where our journey began over 30 years ago. Due to its strategic location in the heart of Europe, it is also the center of our logistics operations and a key transit hub. Our distribution centers are located in Jažlovice, Strančice, Klášterec nad Ohří, and Prostějov, where our largest logistics center is situated.
The first country we expanded to in the early years of our presence in the Central European market was Slovakia. Since 2000, when we began providing logistics solutions in Slovakia, our operations have expanded to three distribution centers—Madunice, Prešov, and Senec.
Four years after expanding to Slovakia, we decided to further extend our reach. In 2004, we opened warehouses in Hungary. Currently, we operate in two distribution centers, Gyál and Vecsés, both located near the capital city of Budapest.
The expansion of our services continued in 2012 into one of the largest Central European markets, Poland. In Poland, we provide both domestic and international transportation through our distribution centers in Sochaczew and Mszczonów.
A year after expanding into Poland, in 2013, we moved further east. In Romania, we currently operate from two distribution centers located in the capital city of Bucharest and Timișoara.

At HOPI, we're committed to sustainability. We optimize our transport routes and invest in energy-efficient warehouses. Our distribution centers are equipped with energy-saving lighting, heating systems powered by waste heat from refrigeration compressors, and solar panels on our rooftops to generate energy for our own use.
We also sort and recycle waste, and we use efficient packaging machines to minimize the volume of packaging materials and waste produced. Instead of paper, we use barcode scanners in our warehouses, which are more efficient and sustainable.
We recognize that, due to the nature of our business, transportation significantly contributes to our carbon footprint. Therefore, we continually strive to minimize our negative impact on the environment by regularly updating and maintaining our fleet and actively reducing emissions.
Since last year, we’ve successfully reduced CO₂ emissions by 2.95% from the HOPI CZ fleet and by 2.83% from our external fleet. Our goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions by 30% by 2030 and by 95% by 2050.
We believe social responsibility is integral to sustainable business, and we actively support numerous sports, cultural, and educational projects. Following the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, for example, we set up accommodation facilities in Senohraby for our Ukrainian colleagues. We are also a major partner of the "Ride of the Kings" festival in Vlčnov, a traditional event recognized by UNESCO.
